The shape of it
Three days, two nights, one afternoon of polo — and nothing else for you to plan. Here's the whole thing before you scroll for the rest.
Chukker 1 · Thursday 11 Feb · Jaipur, then the road to Delhi
Breakfast (mostly recovery), a live polo match in a private cabana, then a big dinner in Delhi and on somewhere after.
Sleeping: Andaz Delhi, Aerocity
Chukker 2 · Friday 12 Feb · Delhi — Aerocity
The day's ours — pool, spa, the shops, or Delhi, in whatever combination forms. One big dinner together, and on somewhere after.

Chukker 3 · Saturday 13 Feb · Delhi — Aerocity
Checkout, then choose your own ending — stay in Delhi, detour to Agra, keep flying, or head home.
Sleeping: Trip's over — fly out, or carry on

Chukker 1 · Thursday 11 February
Breakfast, then the polo
- Breakfast at Jai Mahal Palace, the morning after a two-day wedding — which means fifty people quietly nursing the same headache. This is where it ends and the trip begins: no separate travel, no gap to fill.
- Then checkout, bags loaded, and a mosey over to the polo ground.
- A live match at the Rajasthan Polo Club, Jaipur, watched from a private cabana — food and a bar running the whole afternoon.
- By the second chukker, most of the group is comfortably a few drinks in — there's nowhere else to be, and someone else is driving later.
- Around 4:30, into a chauffeured ride to Delhi — someone else behind the wheel, nothing for you to arrange.
- In by nine, checked in, bags dropped.
- Then the whole group piles into one big dinner, and on to a bar after — the first of two good nights.
Getting there is the good part
Chauffeured, door to door, from the polo ground to the hotel lobby. You arrange nothing and you drive nothing.
The new Bandikui Spur opened in 2025 and runs the Delhi–Mumbai Expressway straight into Jaipur — four lanes, access-controlled, and a great deal more pleasant than the old road.
Out of the polo around 4:30, into Aerocity between half past eight and nine.
Friday, at the Andaz
Nobody's making you stay in — this is just what's here if you do. Pick a corner, or several, or none of them, and see everyone again at dinner.
The outdoor pool. Aqua yoga if you want it.
If you want a shape for the day: pool and lawns in the morning, the spa if you signed up, the cinema when it's hot out, Juniper before dinner. Just as good a day if you ignore all of that.
Sauna, steam and the pool are open to everyone all day. Treatments are limited, so put your name down if you want one.
Chukker 2 · Friday 12 February
The day is ours
- Sleep in. Genuinely, sleep in.
- After that, it's whatever we feel like, together or in twos and threes — the pool, the spa, the shops, or forty minutes into Delhi proper, in whatever combination forms that morning, and drifting back together as the day goes.
- Then everyone's back together for one big dinner, and on somewhere after — starting earlier than Thursday, since there's no polo and no drive to work around, so it can run as long as everyone's got in them.
The evenings

Runs midnight to six at weekends, and the Friday is a Friday.
Aerocity's whole trick is that everything is walkable. Nobody needs a car, and nobody needs us to book anything.
Chukker 3 · Saturday 13 February
Leave however you like
- Checkout late morning.
- After that, you're on your own clock.
- Stay in Delhi and keep hanging out, take the couple of hours down to Agra for the Taj, or catch a flight and keep going properly — Japan, the Maldives, wherever's next. You're already halfway around the world, so it's not as mad as it sounds.
- Or just fly home. Some of us will be wrecked, and that's a perfectly good option too.
Where you're sleeping
Andaz Delhi, Asset No. 1, Aerocity. 401 loft-style rooms, and each one holds a different commissioned artwork about Delhi.
Ask for a Large View Room. They look out over the runway, and the runway lights come on after dark.
The minibar is complimentary. Make of that what you will.

A little polo tradition
Divot Stomp
At halftime, everyone walks onto the field and pats the torn-up turf back down. It's a real polo ritual, and almost nobody outside the sport knows it. Thirty seconds, forty divots — see how many you can flatten.
Come pat some divots anyway. Purely for bragging rights.
