Wine and a long table

Sixteen Beds, a Wine Cellar, and a Balloon at Dawn

The estate sleeps sixteen and has the pool and the wine cellar, so nobody has to leave. The balloon flight caps at twelve, which means somebody sleeps in. Book Bouchon Bistro before you fly. Oxbow Public Market handles every morning after that.

Questions

Will the house actually hold our whole group?
The Napa Valley Vineyard Estate House sleeps 16, with a pool, a full kitchen and outdoor fire pits. It runs roughly $1,200–$3,500 a night depending on the season, so the per-person number drops fast as you fill the beds.
Do we need cars?
You'll want two. SFO is about 75 minutes out. For the wine day, the Platypus Wine Tours private van takes up to 14 and does the driving, which is the whole reason to book it.
What if we're more than twelve?
Split the morning. Napa Valley Balloons caps at 12 and the spa day at Auberge du Soleil or Solage caps at 10, so run two waves or send half the group to the vineyard picnic, which takes 14.
