The trip after the wedding

Reno or Sedona?

Both work for a group after the wedding. Here is what actually separates them, from our own rows rather than from a template.

The trip you take with your friends right after the wedding — instead of the honeymoon, or before it.

  • Sedona has 2 stays that sleep a group of twelve in one place, against 1 in Reno. If keeping everyone under one roof is the point, that is the difference that matters.
  • The cheapest whole-group house starts at $350 a night in Sedona and $400 in Reno — roughly $50 a night between them, before anyone has eaten.
  • Both are at their best in May, September. Reno also holds up in June, July, August, and Sedona in March, April, October, November.
  • We carry noticeably more to do in Sedona (16 things) than in Reno (4), which matters most for the middle day when the group splits up.
  • Reno is in NV, Sedona in AZ.
