- The cheapest whole-group house starts at $400 a night in Tulum and $500 in Punta Cana — roughly $100 a night between them, before anyone has eaten.
- Both are at their best in January, February, March, April, December. Punta Cana also holds up in May, and Tulum in November.
- We carry noticeably more to do in Tulum (9 things) than in Punta Cana (6), which matters most for the middle day when the group splits up.
