- Can we all get on the water at once?
- Not on one boat. The pontoon rental caps at twelve and the jet skis at ten, so plan two groups and swap after lunch. Ha Ha Tonka State Park costs nothing and holds twenty if half of you want a dry morning.
- Do we need cars?
- Yes. Springfield-Branson is about a hundred minutes from the lake, and everything — the dock bars, Baxter's, Ha Ha Tonka — is a drive. Bring one car per four or five people.
- Anything to know before dinner?
- Bob's BBQ is cash only, so hit an ATM before the first night. JB Hook's and Baxter's Lakeside Grille are the $$$ rooms — book the bigger of the two for the night everyone's together.
