- At least one. Red Rocks is a sunrise start and a three-hour trip, and Denver International is about 30 minutes from the Highland house. For RiNo and Union Station, rides are simpler than parking.
- Where does the big dinner go?
- Mercantile Dining & Provision has a private room for 8 to 20, so fourteen fits without anyone negotiating. Tavernetta is the alternative if you'd rather have pasta and don't need a room of your own.
- When should we go?
- May through October. The house runs $300–$900 a night for 14 beds, which is why a Denver weekend stays cheap even when the group is large — put the savings into the RiNo cocktail class.
