One big house

A Highland House With a Rooftop Deck and a Red Rocks Sunrise

Fourteen beds in Highland with a rooftop deck and the mountains out west. Do Red Rocks at sunrise — three hours, and the group is back before brunch at Snooze. Mercantile has a private room that fits eight to twenty, which is the whole point.

Questions

Do we need cars?
At least one. Red Rocks is a sunrise start and a three-hour trip, and Denver International is about 30 minutes from the Highland house. For RiNo and Union Station, rides are simpler than parking.
Where does the big dinner go?
Mercantile Dining & Provision has a private room for 8 to 20, so fourteen fits without anyone negotiating. Tavernetta is the alternative if you'd rather have pasta and don't need a room of your own.
When should we go?
May through October. The house runs $300–$900 a night for 14 beds, which is why a Denver weekend stays cheap even when the group is large — put the savings into the RiNo cocktail class.
