A city everyone can reach

A Wrigleyville House, the River Cruise, and Girl & the Goat

A full house near the Cubs bars, twelve beds, and no hotel block to negotiate. The architecture river cruise runs ninety minutes and holds forty, so it's the easy first morning. Girl & the Goat for dinner, Au Cheval after the bars.

Questions

Do we need cars?
No. The house sits in Wrigleyville within reach of the bars, and O'Hare is about 30 minutes out. You'll pay for a handful of rides down to the West Loop for dinner and that's the whole transport budget.
Can everyone do the spa day?
The Peninsula caps at 10 and you're 12, so two people skip it or you book across two days. Start with the river cruise instead — it holds 40, so the first morning leaves nobody out.
When should we go?
May through October. Twelve beds at $400–$900 a night is the reason to do Chicago as a house rather than a block of rooms — you get a kitchen and somewhere to end the night.
