One big house

A Ranch House Outside Bozeman and One Long Day in Yellowstone

Fourteen beds, a fire pit, and a porch fifteen minutes from downtown. Give Yellowstone a whole day — it's ten to twelve hours with the drive, and the group needs nothing that evening but the hot tub. Dinner at Blackbird Kitchen the night before.

Questions

Can the whole group fly fish?
Not at once. The Gallatin float caps at 8, so fourteen means two boats or two mornings. Horseback at Rockin' TJ Ranch takes 14 and the Bozeman Hot Springs soak takes 20 — those two hold everybody.
Is Yellowstone really doable in a day?
Yes, if you give it the whole day. It's a 90-minute drive each way and ten to twelve hours door to door. Plan a soft evening after it — nobody is making a late reservation.
Do we need cars?
Yes. The airport is 15 minutes out, the house sits 15 minutes from downtown, and Yellowstone is a drive. Two vehicles is the honest minimum for fourteen people.
